Today I am pleased to bring you visuals to Power Trip, the first single off of J Cole‘s sophomore album Born Sinner. From the looks of it, the video was shot in Cole’s hometown of Fayetteville, NC. While the story portrayed in the video is kind of dark, it gives longtime J Cole fans something we’ve been waiting for, as it is the continuation of Dreams [one of my personal favorite Cole songs for his storytelling ability] from Cole’s first mixtape The Warmup. I just wanna meet the girl who has J open enough for two songs and some highly illegal activity. Watch the video below and comment to let me know what you thought about it!
