Forte Bowie LIVE at A3C!

The opening night of A3c was a dope one. Before Rich Homie Quan came out and shut the place down [even though it was only a 3-song set], up-and-coming New Atlanta artist Forte Bowie came out and did his thing. He performed a number of songs, mostly hits from his most recent project Vice Haus, that showed of his versatiliy as an artist. The tape has songs that range from 808s and trap beats to other songs where Forte sings to his ex about the damage she did. The show, like the tape, was dope. This was my first time meeting Forte and i must say he made me a fan. Check out the footage below and check back for music from the artist on the rise.

3005 x Childish Gambino

2013 has been a bomb year for music so far and it’s not stopping now.  Actor turnt rapper turnt singer Danny Glover aka Childish Gambino is vamping up for the release of his album Because the Internet by leaking a series of dopeee songs. The most recent is 3005, which he dropped today. In it, he spits as usual then surprises us as always with his pipes on the chorus. It’s a track that the ladies will love while still keeping men hooked on every word with his killer lyricism and awesome delivery. The song is definitely catchy; I’ve already listened to it like 3005 times. I’m excited about the star’s decision to leave hit show Community to focus on music. Update: In an interview with The Breakfast Club, Gliver expressed that he did not in fact leave Community for music. He left because he “didn’t want to work for anybody”. Now he has his own show in the works. Turn up!  Check out the track below and let me know what you think!

Locomotion x Miles Stone ft Clay James

New sounds from two of my fave up-and-coming artists and the coolest cats I know. Locomotion is Miles Stone cool, laid-back vibe-able track. It’s already dope but he amps it up a notch by bringing in fellow Southern artist Clay James [formerly known as CJ Da Fly Guy]. Check out the song below and look out for more new music from both artists coming soon. Comment and let me know what you think.
