3:16 x CyHi the Prynce [Official Video]

Though the video dropped last week, it’s dope enough that I thought I’d still bring it to you guys today. From his DOPE Black Hystori Project, G.O.O.D.’s own CyHi the Prynce gives us controversial visuals for his track entitled 3:16 . [True rap heads will get both meanings of the title.] Keeping in line with the theme of the mixtape and the tradition of Cyhi, the track talks about real subjects that plaque our commuinity and as always is laced with plenty of triple entendres that take a few listens to truly take in. In the video, Cyhi dons an all-black preacher’s robe and sits on a pew, drinking some dark and smoking a cigarette at times. While it is risky and borderline-blasphemous, I can respect the artistic expression and wordplay. Check out the vid below and let me know what you think. Also check back tomorrow for footage of CyHi and labelmate Pusha T at the MNIMN tour stop in ATL.

Babylon x SZA ft Kendrick Lamar + “Z” Album Stream

Just in time for the spring, the “thug Mrs.” of TDE brings us her album Z, a warm yet dark and very eclectic mix of ethereal yet easily relatable music. If you haven’t heard of SZA, I’d describe her as a hiphop Corinne Bailey Rae, with a sultry voice that is both relaxing and emotion evoking while using grimy beats and killer collabos to give you a finished project that is more simultaneously refreshing and gutta than you could ever imagine. She has been making waves for over the past year after releasing her first EP as an unsigned artist entitled S. It’s not hard at all to see why the TDE team deemed her a thrilling and innovative addition. Monday she dropped a refreshed version of her hit Bablyon along with an always stellar Kendrick verse hours before the album Z hit iTunes. It’s def worth the money but if you don’t have the cash flow at the moment, check out the Spotify stream of the album below [Julia became a favorite of mine immediately, with Child’s Play ft Chance the Rapper as a close second!]  and let me know what you think!

Draft Day x Drake

New audio from one of the hottest in the game OVO’s own Drake. Entitled Draft Day, the track is spit over a dope sample and to me somewhat reminiscent of Comeback Season Drizzy. It also features a dope audio reference, just as Drake’s most recent hit We Made It. I really appreciate his commitment to the theme of his songs lately. I like the laidback tone of the song and can’t wait to ride to it this summer. Check it out above and let me know what you think.

Reason x Miles Stone + Zip K & Neion Deion

This week marked the release of Been Good: Vol 1. It was produced by George F. Baker III, Wino Willy, Teimless Knight, Shalom Little and Kaedus of Raven Corps. The tape, features appearances from many of New Atlanta’s dopest artists, such as Miles Stone, Zip K, subCONSCIOUS [sbCNCS], Neion Deion, and many more. Def a dope compilation. You can listen and DL the entire project here.

Locomotion x Miles Stone ft Clay James [Official Video]

Two of my favorite Southern emcees have finally come together to make a track with visuals to accompany. Locomotion featuring Clay James is on Miles Stone‘s upcoming project Hard Liquor due out this spring. The track is the truth. Both artists bring a type of Southern style that makes you want to lay up, put your feet up and vibe out. Check out the vid below and let me know what you think. And be sure to watch out for Miles and Clay; they’re both def cooking up some heat for this upcoming summer!

Coretta x CyHi The Prynce x BHP

Just in time for Valentine’s Day and just days after dropping the Napolean video, Cyhi The Prynce brings chivalry back with the track Coretta. The song is a romantic track yet still equipped with CyHi’s usual triple entendres and unique wordplay. Coretta will be on the upcoming mixtape Black History Project, dropping on DatPiff on February 24. So far I love the theme and the project sounds dope. Check out the track below.

Cudi Announces “Satellite Flight” Album Cover Art & Track Listing

Today has been a busy day for the music industry, full of many great announcements. However, the one I’m about to break is definitely one of my favorite of the day. Now-indie artist Kid Cudi has released the cover art and track listing for his next album, Satellite Flight. Following last year’s Indicud (which I still play pretty much daily), I’m excited to hear what S.F. has to offer. The most noteworthy track in my opinion is entitled Return of the Moon Man (Original Score) [which leads me to believe that the track will be theatrical]. There’s also a track called Too Bad I Have To Destroy You Now, and another called Balmain Jeans (which sounds more like a Kanye track) featuring Raphael Saadiq. The cover art goes along with his Moon Man alias and leads fans to believe it will be true to the “high-flying” albums which have made millions grow to love Cudi. Check out the track list below.

Napolean x CyHi The Prynce [Official Video]

I am pleased to bring you new music AND visuals from one of my absolute favorite artists CyHi The Prynce. The track is called Napolean and is just as imperial as it sounds.  The Prynce’s next project will be executive produced by none other than Kanye West, so I am as always extremely excited to hear that. Mr. Redan Road plans to drop several more mixtapes and then release an album soon. Stay tuned for more updates and check out the vid below!

Party x Rich Homie Quan [Official Video]

Finally the long-awaited for visuals for Atlanta rapper-[singer-on-the-low] Rich Homie Quan. The track is entitled Party and caught the attention of most last summer, along with his recent hit Type of Way and most recently platinum-status My Hitta. The visuals are dope and Hangover-esque, and feature a lot of dope use of color and cinematogrophy in true Gabriel Hart aka Video God fashion. Check out the vid below and let me know what you think!
