The Ross Review x King Quando [Interview]

As we all know, the creative scene in the city of Atlanta pushes the culture of the entire country, and word even when it comes to movies, fashion and more. The Ross Review spearheaded by Atlanta’s own Kimberly Ross has been catching up with some of the city’s most buzzworthy musicians, curators, fashion powerhouses and more to gain an authentic perspective of the ever-evolving scene. This session with King Quando is no different.
Taking place in Bankhead, the infamous West Side abode of Bowen Homes’ own Shawty Lo, the interview with Quando gives even someone who’s never been to Atlanta an accurate aura immediately. Kim goes into depth with the up and coming emcee about his music, his hood, the everlasting legacy of Mr. DunDun himsef and more. BET’s Rap It Up Tour hits Atlanta!

Members of the hip hop community including Mishon, Sammie, Shawty Lo, Dolla Boy of Playaz Circle, Yung Tone, Emmanuel and Philip Hudson (of YouTube success), came to do a free concert on Clark Atlanta University’s campus to show support for BET’s Rap It Up campaign which advocates for safe sex and STD/AIDS awareness.  Footage of my full coverage of the event coming soon!
